How To Earn Money With Cashback Site Quidco

There are some things that you can do for very minimal effort that will earn you some ‘free’ money. The example which we are going to look at today is a cashback site Quidco*.
Quidco is the number one UK cashback site, and partner with over 4,500 brands to enable you to earn money on purchases that you would be making anyway – such as O2, Expedia, Trainline, Currys, RAC, Debenhams, M&S…and many more. They have the Highest Cashback Guarantee too – which means that if you find a higher rate of cashback elsewhere, they will match it.
Why Should I Use Quidco?
You’d be crazy not to! Seriously though, it is a very easy way to get some extra money, just from doing something that you would be doing anyway. It can be especially good if you are making quite a large purchase and can therefore get a lot of cashback for it, although you can use it for smaller amounts too.
If you don’t, you’re basically throwing free money away! If you are saving money for your goals, such as paying off debt or saving for a house deposit, you’ll know that every little bit of extra cash adds up into a large amount over time.
How Does It Work?
Whenever I’ve been asked questions about cashback sites, it’s usually relating to how it all works exactly, and how complicated it is – luckily, it’s really very simple and easy to use.
You sign into your Quidco account, search for the retailer that you are planning on purchasing from – for example, if you are planning on shopping on ASOS, you would search for ASOS on the site, and then look at the cashback deals that they have available.
As you can see from the screenshot I’ve taken above (and please note that these deals change so they may not always be the same as shown) there are lots of different deals that you can sign up for, with varying amounts of cashback offered. Make sure that you select the correct one that you are planning on purchasing!
When you click on the button that says ‘Get Cashback’ it will take you directly to the retailers site, so in this case it would take you to the ASOS site.
Once you are on the retailers site, you just complete your purchase like you would do normally – that’s all you have to do in order to receive your cashback .
The way that this works is as soon as you have clicked on a link, Quidco will track it – which is great because it means you do hardly anything to earn money from a transaction that you would be making anyway.
New members who sign up with Quidco will get a £15 bonus (offer valid until 31st December 2018) when they shop with ANY retailer e.g. Mothercare, ASDA, Tesco, M&S, New Look, Superdrug, Debenhams.
Which Brands Are On There?
There are tons of brands, and you can see on the website that there are different categories for the retailers across the top of the site – the top categories are:
- Travel
- Electricals
- Fashion
- Telecoms
- Insurance
- Finance
- Luxury
There are 4500 brands on Quidco that offer cashback, including:
- Thomas Cook
- First Choice
- Booking.com
- Argos
- Samsung
- Virgin Media
- Topshop
- Adidas
- Etsy
- AA
- Confused.com
- Lloyds Bank
- Halifax
- Ted Baker
- The Entertainer
- LEGO
As you can see, there are plenty of retailers, so it’s worth checking whenever you are buying anything online, if they are on Quidco* and are offering cashback, so that you can earn extra money from your purchases.
How Much Can I Earn?
This varies from retailer to retailer, and also depends on the deal that you choose – there are some that offer a higher amount of cashback than others.
When you are buying something and have perhaps compared the price already, for example if you are switching your electricity and have found the perfect price, it’s also worth comparing the cashback amounts from the various companies and seeing if you would be better off after cashback with a different one.
How Long Does It Take To Receive The CashBack?
This again depends on the retailers and the tracking. Some deals such as the new member deals* (£15 off any retailer when you sign up) come through within only two weeks.
When you click and make a purchase through Quidco, this is tracked and will show as such on your account. They have to wait for the retailers return period to finish, and then the retailer will check all of the T&C’s have been followed correctly in regards to your purchase. If they agree that this has all been done correctly, they will pass this on to Quidco and Quidco will pay you 100% of the cashback amount.
How Can I Withdraw The Money?
You can withdraw your money at any time (there isn’t a specific limit you need to reach) – and this is payable in the form of either bank transfer, Paypal or gift cards. You will need to wait for the cashback to be at ‘confirmed’ status before you request to withdraw it.
What Else Do They Offer?
As well as the fab cashback that I’ve mentioned, there are also some other things that Quidco provides that you should look out for in order to earn even more money!
Bonus For Signing Up
As a bonus for signing up, Quidco are giving you £15 free cashback as a welcome gift. You have to sign up, make your purchase (minimum spend of £10), then within two weeks of your order, Quidco will add the £15 to your account.
Refer-a-friend Scheme
This is a great opportunity to make some extra cash, and you will be helping your friends out too. If you are impressed with the cashback site and were going to let your family and friends know about it so that you could help them earn some money too (what a good friend you are!), then you can get a bonus for doing so.
The current offer is for £20 cashback when you tell your friends (you have to be an existing member because you will get the referral link in your account). Your friends will have to click on your link and then earn £5 worth of cashback for you to receive the offer.
In-Session Bonuses
Bonuses are regularly offered, so it’s worth keeping an eye on your emails and also the notifications if you are using the Quidco site app as they get snapped up quickly! An example – recently Quidco ran a £2.50 bonus when you spend £10+ with any takeaway retailer on Quidco (Just Eat, Deliveroo, Papa Johns etc).
Cashback App
Did you know that Quidco have a cashback app too? It’s called Clicksnap and it is free to use – available on iPhone and Android. The concept is similar – but in this case, you upload your receipt for your in-store grocery items and earn cashback. You can download the app here:
The Quidco app is for the main site, and can be downloaded here:

Quidco Games
They frequently run games, such as during the World Cup, where you have the chance to win £1000’s in prizes. (I just had a go but I wasn’t very good! I did win a small prize though – and it was fun).

That’s so true!
I love using Quidco and over the years have earned some really good cashback – I always tell people to use it, why turn down free money!
