The Ultimate List of Birthday Freebies
If it’s your birthday and you are heading out, or just popping to the shops, what better way to celebrate than taking advantage of the birthday treats sent out by some fabulous companies!
Everyone loves getting a freebie, and these require little effort to achieve.
For most of them you just have to sign up to their newsletter and wait for them to send you a voucher or similar around your birthday!
Make sure you check the terms and conditions on the ones that you choose to sign up for though, to make sure that you qualify.
Sometimes you will be required to take your I.D. with you as well.
It’s worth noting that a lot of companies will send you vouchers for money off on your birthday (and throughout the year as well), which is always handy if you are planning on buying something from there.
So if you want to get freebies on your birthday, let’s take a look:
Birthday Freebies UK
Where to get birthday freebies? There’s a bunch of places that offer birthday freebies, and in this article we will look at what stores do birthday freebies.
Free Birthday Food
Greggs
Through the Greggs reward app, they will send you a sweet treat e.g. a donut, cupcake (Sharing cakes, giant cupcakes, punnets and multi-packs are not eligible for this promotion.).
Extra treats include a complimentary breakfast when you join the rewards scheme through the app, and a free hot drink when you buy seven hot drinks at full price in any size. Also a monthly prize draw entry!
Millie’s Cookies
Free cookie voucher emailed to you on your birthday when signed up to their list. Millie’s Cookies are the best!
Krispy Kreme
Free donut on your birthday when joined up to their membership ‘Friends of Krispy Kreme’. You also get a free glazed donut just for signing up!
You can also get a free glazed donut for your other half and children under 12 on their birthdays through the app.
Crepeaffair
Download the Crepeaffair app to get a free crepe which is usually around £5. They also offer dairy-free, gluten-free and vegan options. Yay!
Muffin Break
Join the Muffin Break Club for a free muffin on your birthday! Free hot drink when you register online.
Beefeater Grill
Join their Beefeater Grill Reward Club and receive a free meal on your birthday! You also collect points whenever you eat or drink there and can use these towards vouchers.
Shepherd Neame
You can get a free pub meal with the purchase of another meal if you sign up to the Shepherd Neame birthday club.
You must be over 18 in order to claim this, and make sure you sign up in advance so that you don’t miss out on your emailed voucher.
Damon’s
Free main meal and a chocolate cake on your birthday! Also a birthday card which contains 30% off your next visit (for you and one other guest).
You have to pre-book and take your I.D with you as proof.
Frankie & Benny’s
Free main meal when you sign up to their newsletter ‘Frankie & Benny’s Rewards’. This is valid when buying another main meal from the menu.
You get a £10 voucher for signing up too. Yay!
Bella Italia
So many birthday things! Free bottle of Prosecco with your meal, free shot desserts, free gelato all round! Also they are offering 2 for 1 on breakfasts, 2 for 1 unlimited cocktails. Sounds like a fun birthday meal to me!
Patisserie Valerie
Join their ‘Cake Club’ newsletter and receive a voucher for a free cupcake on your birthday. You also get an introductory 10% off your next visit just for signing up.
Barburrito
Sign up to their La Familia card and receive a free burrito on your birthday!
Las Iguanas
Sign up to their newsletter and receive a free main meal on your birthday, when another main meal is also purchased from the menu.
Brewer’s Fayre
Bonus Club sign-ups receive a free main meal on their birthday! The card can also be used to collect points, which you can then exchange for vouchers.
Table Table
Pop down to your local Table Table and pick up a Tasty Rewards card and activate online. You get a free birthday meal!
Get a main or another surprise when you sign up to the Coast to Coast newsletter.
If you sign up to Jamie’s Italian Gold Club, you can get a free main or dessert on your birthday. You also get £10 just for signing up.
At Harvester, you can get a free super sundae when it is your birthday.
You can get a cookie at Subway for free on your birthday!
If you sign up for the Hotel Chocolat VIP club, you will be sent a free box of chocolates as a treat on your birthday.
When you create an account with Muffin Break, you can get a free muffin, and on your birthday you will also get a free muffin in that month.
Coal
A £10 voucher is sent to you on your birthday, and you also get a £10 voucher for signing up.

Prezzo
Sign up for their newsletter and receive a complimentary birthday bottle of Prosecco when buying food at a minimum of £20 spend.
Hungry Horse
When you register as a Hungry Horse customer for a gold card, you will get a free sundae! Then on your birthday you will get a free birthday drink. You can choose from the following options:
- A cocktail pitcher to share with friends, worth up to £8.99 (choose from Woo Woo, Red Stag, Oasis Berry Escape), or
- A (four pint) pitcher of Carlsberg lager to enjoy with friends, worth up to £10 minimum, or
- A family soft drink sharer, which includes up to 5 soft drinks when you buy a sharers or 2 main courses from the main menu (22oz Coca-Cola, Diet Coke, Schweppes Lemonade, 20oz Oasis [all draught] or Coke Zero 330ml bottle).
Miller & Carter
You can get some free champagne on your birthday at Miller & Carter but to get this you will need to order at least 4 mains.
Fayre & Square
For signing up, you will receive a £5 voucher off your next meal. For your birthday, a free bottle of wine! These are both to be redeemed when two main adult meals have been purchased.
TGI Fridays
Join their Celebrations Club and you will get treats which include cocktails, smoothies or desserts for you and up to 5 friends!
What’s even better, is that they also send you this treat on your half birthday! Two birthday treats?! Love it.
Ed’s Easy Diner
Members of Ed’s Club receive a free shake on their birthday. When you sign up they send you an email containing a voucher for a free regular burger. You also gain credit on the card to use on future visits.
Kaspa’s
On your birthday, head down to Kaspa’s with your I.D and receive a free birthday shake!
La Tasca
Show your loyalty card and you will get a free bottle of Cava on your birthday. If you book a table for 9 people or more the birthday girl or boy eats for free. Also with the loyalty card you can get 20% off your food any time that you dine.
Loch Fyne
When you sign up for a Loch Fyne card, you will be sent a £10 voucher. You will get a complimentary glass of champagne on your birthday.
This is a good one – if you sign up to the All Bar One app, you will get a free bottle of champagne on your birthday!
You used to get a free glass of Prosecco on your birthday, but Pizza Express are now offering a free bottle of Prosecco on your birthday.
You will need to have 2 main meals in the restaurant on your birthday to redeem this.
Boost
Boost juice bars are offering a free birthday drink on your date of birth and upon presentation of your VIBE Boost card.
Nicholson’s Pubs
On your birthday, Nicholson’s Pubs are offering a free pint of Nicholson’s pale ale or a 25ml Bombay Sapphire gin and tonic.
Other freebies
American Golf
Know anyone who loves golf? Get them signed up to their loyalty scheme, where you can get £10 off in store with a £10 minimum spend.
Paperchase
£5 off voucher sent to you for your birthday with the ‘Treat Me’ card. You also get the option of 15% off your next purchase.
If you go to a flagship store with a coffee shop called Tinderbox, you can get a free premium filter coffee/another hot drink and 10% off food discount, every week.
Create an online Hobbycraft account and make sure that you enter your birthday details.
On your birthday Hobbycraft will send you a £5 discount code to use either in store or online.
Hotpod Yoga
Create an account on this site and you can get a free £5 voucher to use on your birthday.
The Body Shop
£5 voucher on your birthday when signed up for Love Your Body club.
Debenhams/Benefit
With your Debenhams Beauty Club Card you are entitled to a free brow wax at your nearest Debenhams Benefit counter on your birthday – take your I.D. with you.
River Island
You can sign up to the River Island newsletter to get a free £5 voucher on your birthday.
You’ll need to sign up to Space NK and then on the month of your birthday they will send you an email letting you know that you have a gift waiting for you.
They will give you a code which you can use to redeem your gift online.
This works in a similar way by giving you a unique code on your birthday via email to redeem for a birthday gift.
Elemis
On your birthday you can get a £10 off code for a £25 purchase if you sign up to their newsletter.
Sign up to the Michael Kors newsletter to receive a free treat on your birthday.
You won’t get a free birthday gift from New Look on your birthday, but if you are signed up to their mailing list you will get a discount code to use.

Could have done with reading this last week as that’s when my birthday was :). I didn’t know so many companies have birthday freebies. There is always next year I guess haha !
